
{"id":1140,"date":"2024-04-25T20:30:00","date_gmt":"2024-04-25T17:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/support.wewalk.io\/en\/?post_type=docs&#038;p=1140"},"modified":"2026-03-26T16:02:22","modified_gmt":"2026-03-26T13:02:22","password":"","slug":"changing-wewalks-default-language-2","status":"publish","type":"docs","link":"https:\/\/support.wewalk.io\/en\/article\/changing-wewalks-default-language-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Changing WeWALK\u2019s default language"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Follow these steps to change the default language in the WeWALK app:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Open the WeWALK App<\/strong> \u2013 Open the WeWALK application on your device.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Go to the &#8220;My Account&#8221; Tab<\/strong> \u2013 Tap on the &#8220;My Account&#8221; tab, located at the bottom right corner of the screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Open Preferences<\/strong> \u2013 Navigate to the Preferences page within the app.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Select &#8220;Other Preferences&#8221;<\/strong> \u2013 Tap on the &#8220;Other Preferences&#8221; button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Choose &#8220;Select Language&#8221;<\/strong> \u2013 Find the &#8220;Select Language&#8221; button and tap to access the available language options.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Select Your Language<\/strong> \u2013 From the supported language list, choose your preferred language.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Confirm Your Selection<\/strong> \u2013 After selecting your preferred language, tap &#8220;OK&#8221; to confirm. The app will automatically close.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reopen the App<\/strong> \u2013 Reopen the WeWALK app. It will now be set to your selected language.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Changing the Language &amp; Audio Settings on&nbsp;WeWALK&nbsp;Smart Cane 2<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After setting the app language to your preferred language, you can change the language and audio settings of your&nbsp;WeWALK&nbsp;Smart Cane 2 by following the steps below:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Connect Your Device<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Connect your&nbsp;WeWALK&nbsp;Smart Cane 2 to the&nbsp;WeWALK&nbsp;app via the Smart Cane tab.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Open Device Preferences<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 In the Smart Cane tab, tap&nbsp;<strong>\u201cDevice Preferences.\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Go to Language &amp; Audio Preferences<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Navigate to the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cLanguage &amp; Audio Preferences\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;section.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Select Your Preferences<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Choose your preferred language. You can also:&nbsp;\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select between different audio options&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adjust audio volume (low or high)&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Increase the speech speed for faster audio feedback&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Update Settings<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Tap&nbsp;<strong>\u201cUpdate Your Smart Cane\u2019s Language &amp; Audio\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;after making your selections.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>&nbsp;To complete the update, both your mobile phone and your&nbsp;WeWALK&nbsp;Smart Cane 2 must have at least 30% battery charge.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After completing these steps, you can use your&nbsp;WeWALK&nbsp;Smart Cane 2 with your preferred language and audio settings.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please ensure that both your&nbsp;WeWALK&nbsp;Smart Cane 2 and the&nbsp;WeWALK&nbsp;app are up to date to change the language and audio settings.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Follow these steps to change the default language in the WeWALK app: Changing the Language &amp;
