Follow these steps to update your Smart Cane 2:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Connect your Smart Cane 2 to the WeWALK app by:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Turn on Bluetooth on your phone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Turn on the cane by pressing and holding the power button \u2014 the square button, the first button from the top on the front side \u2014 for 3 seconds. You should hear a startup sound.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In your phone\u2019s Bluetooth settings, find \u201cWeWALK\u201d and tap on it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A pairing request will appear \u2014 accept it to pair your cane with your phone.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the Smart Cane tab, tap \u201cCheck the Updates.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap \u201cCheck Version\u201d to see whether your device is up to date.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If a new version is available, start the update and keep the app open until it is complete.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When there is a new firmware update, the WeWALK App will show a pop-up announcement to you, and you can directly update your cane from the pop-up as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Please note that both your mobile phone and your Smart Cane 2 must have at least 30% battery charge to complete the update. <\/strong>We also recommend keeping the WeWALK app updated to the latest version in the App Store or Google Play Store.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Keeping your firmware up to date resolves most connection and performance issues.
