If the drainage is faster than the expected range of 6 to 8 hours of active use, please try the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Make sure your cane has the latest firmware. To check for updates, connect your cane by:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Turn on Bluetooth on your phone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Turn on the cane by pressing and holding the power button \u2014 the square button, the first button from the top on the front side \u2014 for 3 seconds. You should hear a startup sound.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In your phone\u2019s Bluetooth settings, find \u201cWeWALK\u201d and tap on it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A pairing request will appear \u2014 accept it to pair your cane with your phone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the Smart Cane tab, tap \u201cCheck the Updates.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After updating, fully charge the cane and verify whether the drain has improved.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the issue persists after the firmware update, contact us at <a href=\"mailto:info@wewalk.io\">info@wewalk.io<\/a> with your cane serial number.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our technical support team can then review your device records and advise on next steps.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Some level of battery drainage while the device is turned off is normal and expected behaviour, which is why we recommend charging your cane nightly.
