The flashlight is located on the front surface of the cane, just above the cane junction. It has a round shape and a hard plastic texture.
Using the Smart Cane 2
- Turn On/Off Flashlight – Press and hold the Next Option Button to turn the flashlight on or off.
Using the WeWALK App
If your WeWALK Smart Cane 2 and WeWALK app are up to date, you can also control the flashlight via the app:
- Connect your Smart Cane 2 via the Smart Cane tab
- Tap “Device Preferences”
- Select the Flashlight option to enable or disable it
Additionally, you can enable the flashlight to turn on automatically when an obstacle is detected:
- Go to “Obstacle Detection Preferences”
- Enable the flashlight on obstacle detection option
Note: The flashlight consumes a significant amount of energy and may impact battery performance.
