How to Activate the Voice Assistant

Activating Voice Assistant from Your Phone:

1. Select the Voice Assistant button at the bottom of the menu options screen.

2. Double-tap the Voice Assistant button to activate the microphone.

3. Say your command to the Voice Assistant.

4. Wait for a few seconds after speaking. You’ll hear an audio alert when Voice Assistant stops listening.

5. Voice Assistant will process your command. For a list of commands, refer to the WeWALK support article titled “What Skills Does the Voice Assistant Have?”

Activating Voice Assistant from Your WeWALK Smart Cane:

1. First, make sure your WeWALK horn is disabled. To do this, pair your smart cane with the WeWALK app. In the app’s Preferences menu, select the horn option and disable it.

2. Press and hold the Enter button. This will activate the microphone and you’ll hear a sound when microphone enabled and ready to listen to you. 3. After the enablement of the microphone say your prompt and then release the button.

4. Wait for a few seconds after speaking. You’ll hear an audio alert when Voice Assistant stops listening.

5. Voice Assistant will process your command. For a list of commands, refer to the WeWALK support article titled “What Skills Does the Voice Assistant Have?”
