Why is My Obstacle Detection Not Working?

If your obstacle detection feature is not working effectively on your WeWALK smart cane, please try the following:

Check the obstacle detection distance setting on your device. You can increase or decrease the obstacle detection levels by going to the Preferences menu on the My Account tab when your smart cane is paired with your phone.

The sensor must be facing forward. Make sure your hand is not blocking the obstacle detection sensor.

The obstacle detection sensor may be dirty. Please try wiping it with a damp cloth.
