The WeWALK app is designed for people with low vision as well as those with no vision. For this reason, the app allows you to change visual settings to improve its accessibility. You can follow the steps below to customize the app to suit low vision users:
- Open the “My Account” Section – Tap the “My Account” button, located at the bottom right of the screen.
- Go to Preferences – Select the Preferences tab.
- Select “Appearance Preferences” – Tap on the third button labeled “Appearance Preferences.”
- Adjust Visual Settings – By default, the app uses black text on a white background. However, you can switch to white text on a black background or yellow text on a black background. You can also customize the text size based on your needs.
- Apply Changes – After selecting your preferred settings, tap the “Apply” button to save the changes.
These adjustments ensure a more accessible and comfortable experience for users with low vision.
