Please keep in mind that the Smart Cane 2 does not turn on while it is plugged in and charging — this is expected behaviour. If your cane does not turn on when it is unplugged, try the following steps:
- Connect your Smart Cane 2 to the charger using the included Type-C cable.
- Let it charge for at least 2 hours. A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours, and charging overnight also works well.
- Unplug your Smart Cane 2 from the charger.
- Press and hold the power button — the square button on the front side, the first button from the top of the cane — for 3 seconds.
- You should hear a startup sound when the cane powers on.
- If the cane still does not turn on, try charging it with a different Type-C cable and adapter.

- An attempt to turn the cane on while it is still plugged in.
- An attempt to turn it on after unplugging it.
