To change obstacle detection settings:
Make sure your smart cane is paired with WeWALK app. Tap the Preferences menu on the My Account Tab in WeWALK app.
Tap the “Obstacle Detection” distance option that you would like to use. There are Short, Mid and Far options available.
We recommend setting obstacle detection to Far setting when using your cane outdoors to ensure maximum detection. To set the optimum obstacle detection distance, we recommend you stand in front of a flat wall to test each setting and find the one that suits you best.
