Calibration Steps:
- Make sure your WeWALK mobile application is updated.
- Ensure your Smart Cane 2 firmware is updated.
- Connect your WeWALK Smart Cane 2 with the WeWALK mobile application.
- Confirm that your Smart Cane 2 is properly attached to the white cane.
- Move to an outdoor area with no magnetic interference.
- Hold the cane at a walking angle of about 45–55 degrees, with the side containing four buttons facing upward and the side with two buttons facing right.
- On the right side of the cane, press and hold the button located below the obstacle detection button until you hear three short beeps.
- While keeping the cane steady at the walking angle, slowly rotate in a full circle together with the cane. Continue rotating until you hear three consecutive beeps (this usually takes 3–4 rotations).
- Calibration is complete when you hear three consecutive beeps.
If you ever feel the compass on your cane is not working correctly, you can follow these same steps to repeat the calibration process at any time.
